It is understood that the raw material of the 19-liter water bucket of Nongfu Spring is made of polycarbonate plastic (PC) invented by Bayer, the predecessor of Covestro. As early as January 2020, Nongfu Spring signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with Covestro and recycling company Osser. Nongfu Spring will hand over all the 19-liter polycarbonate buckets that have been eliminated to Osser for shredding, washing and repelletizing. Covestro will then further process these processed plastic particles into high-performance recycled plastics. Used in electronic appliances, home appliances and automobiles and other industries.
